In 2015 the Director of the National authority on agriculture and livestock of Chile (SAG), Angel Sartori, visited Dhaka and an MoU of cooperation in phytosanitary matters was signed.
More recently, the Chilean President Gabriel Boric made a brief stopover at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka. Although the visit was brief, it highlighted the ongoing diplomatic engagement and the importance of maintaining direct communication between the highest offices of both countries.
