Dinajpur Medical College and Hospital has been renamed as M Abdur Rahim Medical College and Hospital.
The health ministry has issued a gazette to this effect on Monday. M Abdur Rahim, a lawmaker, was a Liberation War organiser and western zone chairman of the then Mujibnagar government. He died on September 4 last year.
